Please join us for the Annual General Meeting of Section 79 (Northern Gateway) of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.  The AGM will be relatively short, with an update on the past year's activities, some future plans and elections of the 2016/2017 board of directors.

New this year will be our local Northern Lights awards with two categories: Interior and Exterior. Winners will receive a year's ownership of our version of the Stanley Cup - the Lampster Trophy, as well as a certificate inscribed with the team who submitted the award. For simply submitting a project, there will also be a draw for a Galaxy S2 8" tablet, and for merely showing up and voting, there is a draw for a $100 VISA gift card. No project is too small or too big - all submissions are welcome. 

In addition to the AGM, we will have a presentation on the State of Lighting in Edmonton, featuring some of our award-winning lighting projects, some interesting lighting installations, and other lighting features in town.
