Details:
OLED is a light source that is calm, soft and comfortable. Unlike other sources, OLED is approachable and is a lighting source that we want to befriend with. A source that resonates with our emotions. Attendees will be shown that in OLED lighting, light is more central to our focus and our consciousness. They are meant to be seen and celebrated. OLED Lighting expands the language of design through simplicity, purity, design freedom, and human connection. In OLED lighting, light is electromagnetic wave no more. Light has transformed itself to a material, just like bricks to a bridge or fabric to a garment. Light is almost something so tangible that we can hold it in our hands. We will learn that OLED performance in terms of efficacy, color quality, life time and affordability are now advanced to such a point that it can participate in many lighting design applications. Attendees will be introduced to OLED lighting designs that illustrate the design philosophy and vocabularies from decorative lighting to general lighting to close to user applications. The talk will also demonstrate various OLED lighting designs. Share with the attendees their experiences and lessons learned. We will imagine what OLED can do in the near future.
