About this event
Come out for a friendly and fun in-person event, full of lighting trivia and networking with the IES Edmonton Section on May 25! Test your lighting knowledge with your peers as well as catch up over appetizers and drinks at Campio Brewing Company. Let’s socialize and see who is the brightest bulb in our lighting world - the winner will receive a prize! A variety of appetizers (including vegetarian options) will be available, and each attendee will receive one drink ticket with their price of admission.
Who Should Attend?
The event is open to anyone in the local electrical industry who is interested in a fun networking event, regardless of IES membership. Engineers, architects, designers, electrical wholesalers, electrical contractors, lighting agents, and anyone else interested are encouraged to help support the event.

• Date: Wednesday, May 25
• 5:30 PM – Networking, snacks and drinks
• 6:30 PM – Lighting Trivia!
• 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM – Networking and wrap up
Details
This event will be hosted at Campio Brewing Co., located at 10257 105 St NW in Edmonton. Feel free to arrive any time after 5:30 PM, but note that the trivia will start at 6:30 PM. A PRIZE will be given to the winner of the trivia event!
Food & Drinks
The event ticket price includes:
• One beverage ticket (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
• A variety of appetizers (vegetarian options available)
Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase at the venue before, during and after the event.

Can I use my IES membership for a discount?
No membership discount for this event. General Admission only.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is available at Campio Brewing and nearby Impark lots, and as the event is located downtown, there is ample public transportation available as well. Taxis may also be called after the event for safe transport home.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but please check in during registrations when you arrive.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, just let us know when you arrive so we can keep track of the attendees.
COVID-19 Caution
At the time of the event creation, masks are not mandatory for indoor events, as per AHS recommendations. However, if this changes, we will be sure to update the event in advance. Feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable doing so!
Please do not attend if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose or shortness of breath, have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, or are a close contact of a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.
If you feel any flu-like symptoms prior to the event, please let us know, and stay home. Your ticket will be refunded in full.
